Fletch, that is the Tamiya model, I have one of those too but it is not running at the moment. They are cool as they are RWD! But not a serious racer.
Welshman, I am running it with an Epic 3000mAH stick style battery pack to a Trinity Monster Pro Stock motor - it shifts! Transmitter using 29MHz crystals.
The car in the pictures is a Team Losi XXX-S with graphite chassis and the HPI 190mm S2000 body shell. Have also got a Ferrari Modena shell for it but still needs cutting and painting.

I used to race 1:10 scale electric bugsies ages ago, like before I went to Uni. I didn't stick with it during Uni because of cost but it's always one of those things I mena to get back round to doing.
Thing is I have to start from scratch and I can see the expense in front of me.
I do however have a little rc car in a can job of an S all the way from Japan. I'll get a photo of it and post.
It is of course in the fastest colour, Silverstone.
