I cant get rid!

I had the same dilemma last year got a bit bored with the S after 3 years of ownership. Went out and bought a R26R and the plan was to sell the S but every time I sat in it or took it for a drive I just couldn't write that for sale add.
So after a year of planning to sell I've still got it and will probably keep her now seeing that the neighbour has given me her garage to use for the winter.........happy days!

Previously had e46 m3, Audi s4 and rs4 all much quieter more refined etc, however the s2k is a better drivers car!
This post will be hammered by some!

Yeah I suppose you could say that, but it was due to unforeseen circumstances (redundancy) that I wound up in one. Had to leave the bigger power stuff and the running of two cars alone and go back to just one car that was renowned for it's reliability yet was still fun and this ticked the boxes..... still does to be fair

I sold my first S to build a E46 drift car, got boredof that and hugely missed the S so bought another one! Sometimes I think about chopping it in for something with a V8 or a turbo or something more refined to sit in, but when those right set of roads start to unroll in front of you and you're not in the S it just feels wrong

I had the usual must sell pressure when I found out I was having my little girl. 3 years on and I still have my S and my little girl loves it too
And on the plus side my mrs has to stay at home if my little girl wants a run out. Win win!!

I've been on the fence now for months about selling up or semi-parting out and selling it standard...or keeping it. Although my head is telling me I should sell it as it makes a lot of sense something is stopping me. Probably all the time and effort I put in to build it!

I've also had mine since 2002 and I know I'll ever sell it. It's definitely the best car I've ever owned for me at least.

I had my S for over 4 years, didn't use it a lot but certainly polished it LOADS.
It was a sad day when I let her go and, should I have had the space to keep it, I'm sure it would be in the exact same condition it was all those years ago. A really lovely motor that made the biggest impression upon me out of all the cars I have had.
You can feel so connected to the car when you really start to get into the way it feels and responds.
I think my favourite aspect though, was my introduction into the world of Zaino polishes
