Buy them with the view that they may not be suitable at all and you'll lose the cost of the tyres. If they're crap, you'll at least get a good bit of wear at the trackday (do some donuts & wheelspins to wear more and have fun ) then you can get rid and get known tyres.

Best case scenario is you find them to be excellent so will keep them, you'll do the trackday anyway.

Just a case of whether it's worth risking however much they cost.
