Just returned from looking at a one owner '09 S2000 at a Honda dealer. Is it necessary to do HPI checks (or any other checks?) with a car of this sort of age and mileage (2700) from an official dealer?

What price are they asking?

 

Thanks Gaspode. They are asking £19,995, which is a bit too much for me. I think I could just about stretch to £19K with what I sold my Exige for. It is a VERY nice car though, Moonrock (which is my colour of choice), with black interior (with a little bit of red stitching in the leather which we really liked).

Crikey, didn't realise that (thought they would have still been going for about £28K). TBH looking on Autotrader, it seems a fairly reasonable asking price compared with what else is currently on the market.

always worth doing the check if buying private or from a small dealer. a franchise dealer will pay pennies for this so ask to see their report

 

There is/was a Black on here for sale at a nice price with some tasty mods.
