Default Hp or cash

Just wondered how may people paid cash for their car or did this pcp thingy ! (think thats what it is) , where you put a deposit down, pay monthly for 3 years then a lump sum at the end? Cash probably as you are all very affluent !!!

thanks

Good old hard filthy lucre all the way.

(Not particularly affluent - just fortunate to have bought a little two bed shoebox of a house that has doubled in price in 4 years and so have some equity to squander! Neither my 02 nor the new 04 would have been affordable without the joys of equity release)

Cash / Loan as the car is then yours to do with as you please.

Hp can be a real pain if you want to sell the beasty before the end of term.

50% cash, and a 4 year loan at 5.9% for the rest.
I could have afforded 3 years, but liked the idea of having lots of cash spare each month. The cost of spreading the loan over another year was minimal.
