Thats ok, i just got a PM telling where it was but i did find it in the user manual. Honda should have told me it was there when i bought it in june. It is a very secret secret compartment.

Only way to take the lid off is to push out the rolled pins in the hinge. That's a job to be done with the full console piece out.

It's an hours work getting all that out and then another hour of swearing to get the pins out without breaking the hinge (assuming you have the right sized drift)

Extension cable takes 2 mins tops to unravel.

Hence the;

"Extension lead"
