How much is it worth?
I'm thinking about selling my S2k. I'm not sure if I will yet as it could be worth more to me than it's worth, if you know what I mean.
Anyway it's a 1999 Silverstone that's nearly done 67,000 miles and it's had two previous owners.
There's a lot of stamped service history up until 2009 or so and then it's all written in by me as I do everything myself.
The cars' in pretty good condition body wise, there's a few minor marks. There's no rust on the arches, but there is a tiny bit on the seam where the passenger side rear panel meets the sill. It is only a tiny bit too and it hasn't got any worse since I bought the car in 2010. The underside of the body is really clean, it looks like a much newer car.
The worst part of the car is the roof and it's probably the original so doesn't look brilliant, but at the same time it doesn't look rough either.
Now mechanically wise the car's about as good as you could hope for!
The engine runs as it should, the gearbox is a facelift one with the uprated carbon synchros and it shifts gears very smoothly. A new Oem clutch was fitted just 15,000 miles ago too.
I've done a bit suspension wise too as I didn't like how the car felt when I first bought it. The rear subframe is a facelift version that I had powder coated before it was fitted. The rear upper arms and hubs hubs are facelift ones too and the suspension coilovers were imported from the US as I wanted new Honda S2000 CR/Clubracer units that only ever came fitted to the US CR S2000. The rear anti-roll bar's a CR version to match where as the front one is still the standard 1999 model year one as it only has a 1Lb torsional difference to the CR one. The US CR S2000 also got the faster ratio steering rack that the 1999 model had too so it should drive pretty much like a CR does.
All of the geo bolts are free and greased with water proof marine grease and the lower front arm bushes are quite new Mugen ones.
I nearly forgot it's got facelift alloys on it too that are in good condition.
So what is it realistically worth?
Here's a pic I took quickly tonight, it's dirty though!

I would have thought in the region of £6k to about £6.3k. Early cars seem to fetch strong money only if original.
Anyway I would list at £6.3k and look to achieve high 5S or low 6S.

Thanks for the reply tozerman.
I have got the option or refitting the original suspension as I've still got it and then I could sell the CR stuff separately I suppose. I'm not sure how much I'd get for that, it cost a small fortune when I bought it though!
