Just wondering what the norm is for oil consumption.

How much has yours consumed within the last 6,000miles?

Only done 1200 miles from new but so far have only used less than half a litre of oil.

Maybe a litre or so ,

But not much at all actually compared to what i was expecting after the rumours here

I would guess about 9 litres in 6000 miles !!

In my MY02 I used around 4.5l in the first 9k miles and then switched to fully synth and then around 1.6l for every 9k miles.

Just got to 7000 miles from new. Put in 100ml at about 3500 and oil is slightly above dipstick level now, so at a guess I would say 50ml per 6000 miles. I did run it in carefully but always give it plenty of welly now once its nice and warm.
