It pays the bills...........

Not really top secret - just got prototype parts fitted.

Fuel costs aren't helped by the 12mpg I got either!

This works every time-

http://www.petrolprices.com/

Once you sign up (for free) you can specify Super and up to 3 postcodes.

And like I always say, if you have to worry you bought the wrong car.

Thanks for the link Rich. It's not that I worry about higher fuel prices its knowing I am being ripped off for it that hurts. I have been using super unleaded in my bikes for years but I have just come from a diesel car and also just got back from holiday so didn't know if it was a normal price increase.

Guess we will all have to avoid the 99 octane from BP in Toddington

No prob, the trouble with the big companies is they just don't get it. My town is sort of middle sized (9000 pop) we have one Shell petrol station nothing else, and because he thinks he has a monopoly he charges the top wack, if he had half a brain he would see he's driving customers to the next big town to get their petrol and in doing so loseing local buissiness their trade as the cheap petrol in the other towns is from Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons. So as our townfolk fill up they do their shop.
I once went in and put 5L in, the manager said to me "you won't get far in that with a couple of liters" I replied "It'll get me to a petrol station where I won't get ripped off!" That shut him up.

They are all franchised, so some of it is their own greed, and some will be forced by the prices they are forced to pay.

But for the forecourts, profits are pretty low.

Started to blurt on about supply and demand to them but then realised if they had any hope of understanding the concept they wouldn't be working in a petrol station.....
