they seem like very simple mods to do. You'd have to be a moderater to cock them up!

When I had mine, I got my dealer to change the thermostat.
But it only take 5 minutes to change the ECU once you know how.
However, UK spec S2000s have anti-tamper bolts (kind of like rounded off triangles) holding the ECU in place.
There are three bolts in total. Two hold the ECU in place and the third holds a metal bracket in place which need to be removed in order to unplug all of the connectors.
Once you have these bolts removed, you can replace them with standard hex bolts (Honda part number 93403-0602008).
I removed the triangle bolts with one of those press-in-pin sockets that is designed for removing rounded off nuts etc.
Hope this helps.

PS you should get better fuel economy with the Mugen ECU as it runs the engine much leaner than the standard ECU.

Good points Chris, I will take them into account.
Think I am gonna leave this until after Arran, combination of can't be bothered and lack of time.

I tried the dampers at 4 clicks from full hard last weekend - better suited to smooth roads and the track
