I would like the Mods to life ban any s2k owners referring to their own cars as S2's from this forum ...... even fellow Nurby owners.

STOP IT NOW !
Does a pansie blue one actually qualify as an S2000?

Hope you're taking all this in good spirits Paul.

intresting topic this, as the main reason for me just buying my S2000 last week is the fact that they are quite rare, i dont seem to see many on the road. i have just sold my nissan 200sx s14a and that was also a very rare car, i guess i just like the fact these cars seem a little more special when you do see them on the road. As far as foreums go the SXOC was very good and helpfull one and i can only recommend them all as far as advice and discussions went.

Loving this community so far tho and seriously loving the feel of this car.

According to my local dealers data base, there are (3764) S2000 registered on UK main dealer data base for servicing across the UK

How true that figure is, is another question.
Less than half than have been sold in the UK. I doubt it is accurate.

Oh dear. Looks like I have to say sorry for what I call the car, the words S2 shall never pass my lips again. Lol, and stook never has or will. Interestingly is anyone sad like me and have a name for theirs?
It's interesting to see how many have been lost though to see if it's old 'wild handling' reputation is deserved. Must say I've never had a moment that I haven't pushed it into and don't care if people think I'm driving like a wimp cos I like the smooth body panel look and still loving the fact that most people don't know what my 'S' is.

No problem Greg, I recognise colour envy when I see it, especially from a old man grey owner
