Can you get hold of the glass screen seperately? If so you could just take one to Jack Smith's and for less than £300 he'll do you a whole new roof.

Still original roof on my MY99 its in good condition overall but starting to leak drivers side when it rains i also have the sticky tape patch mod on the plastic rear screen because of two cracks i have in it where i stupidly lowered the roof before it was warm enough when i first got the car and didnt know u had to warm it up first :-( .

Im going to take it to the hood guys or monsoon this spring and treat it to a new roof with glass rear screen i think they look much nicer and neater .

Just taken the hard top off and the 10 year old roof is still going strong. Can't see anything out of the plastic screen but hopefully some tlc will improve that a bit, vinyl needs a good clean too.
