Default How many plastic rear windows still around?

Seen many many threads about soft top replacements but wondered how many of us are still on the original roof with the plastic rear window?

Mine has seen better days but is still watertight and with a bit of care and attention still looks ok.

I do like the bigger plastic window and wondered if those of you have changed to glass noticed the difference in visibility?

I'm still on original roof an window.

Roof is starting to look a bit worn in places and maybe isn't as soundproof as it once was, but it still works and now I have the Teg the S2k rarely goes out in bad weather, so no point in replacing until I have to.

Still on the original. Its in immaculate condition too. Hardly any wear at all. Don't know whether having a hard-top fitted has helped it.

I hope I haven't put the kiss of death on it now though!

I have the original its in top condition but my plastic window cracked last week. If my roof was tatty i would change the lot for a glass window version but as its not im just going to get the plastic replaced in the summer.

£500 just for window or £800 for new roof?

I'd go for the new roof TBH

I think they last if you take care of them (don't put roof down until interior & soft top warm etc.). Use the BMW cleaner as well, keeps them clear and supple/soft so won't crack.

Still on my original one. Can hardly see anything through it.
