Where in the owners or service manual does it state 75c is "VTEC'ing temp"?

It doesn't state that, but I believe it does say wait until operating temps are reached, which is 75c.

But in saying that, given what happened to my S2000 and my con rod exited through the bottom of the sump, mechanical sympathy is bollocks!

When I had the oil pressure and temp gauge in my last S2000. It took 2.1 miles to get to a certain point on my drive and it would always be 50 degrees oil temp and the low warning I set would stop at that point. That was the point I am happy to start bringing up the revs past 4k.

I stick to the same in this one

Where do you get that temp from? My Evo with a gauge used to sit at around 50-55 at operating temps.

I started giving it more throttle once it reached 40 and full throttle/revs at 50.

Or do you mean water temp?

my vxr8 runs between 100-110c.. 150c on a track day

the rev limiter gives me full revs at about 30c.
