It's probably cos its an ealrier MY than your old one, my newer one uses hardly anything compared to my old one. You gotta check more often with the older one... you wont make that mistake again. 2-3litres

As long as there was enough to keep the oil pressure up to keep (oil light comes on if there isn't) it should be fine .
But, if the oil light hasn't come on then a bit of TLC and you should be fine.

Honda oil lights are not to tell you to top the oil up, they are to tell you that you will almost more than likely have done damage to your engine, get it to the dealer in that case.

Once drove a car without a sump at all!!!!!!!! - just across the garage tho'.
It survived and so did I
The oil pressure warning light is one of those helpful -
- warning lights
I know of no useful way of working out how little oil to run the car on, but there is a safety margin, so long as you didn't get an oil pressure warning it's probably OK

If your car isn't under extended warranty already I'd recommend buying one pretty quick (and if the engine should blow up tomorrow then don't get it towed into a repairer to try to claim for a couple of weeks).

You should be ok, but the others are right. I had that light come on for me (albeit, in a Civic ESi) and 1 month later, even though I topped up with oil, the main bearing went. New engine time then....

I think they're ok so long as there's something left at the bottom.
