How good is the S2000 as a track car?
I know there are a few guys on here that drive trackdays in their S2000s and some of you also have track dedicated cars. I have a damaged car that I bought to use on track and keep changing my mind about changing from the CRX to an S2000.
I'm pretty sure that the S2000 will be a more rewarding drive as it has a better design of suspension, better weight distribution, and most importantly rear wheel drive. What issues are people having when driving on track, fuel surge, oil surge, overheating brakes etc?

The track day FAQ (in the Meets section) is well worth a read.
The car is fine as standard but better brake pads and fluid will give you more track time.
I've managed 260 miles a day two days running and the car hasn't missed a beat. Just put fuel and oil in as necessary.
Other stuff will help you go faster but isn't necessary as such.
As I always say, money is best spent on driver improvement.

Brakes is the only one.
Fit some ducting and some decent pads and you need not worry.
After that Seat, tyres, coilovers and bin the interior. That really is it.

Yeah, you tend to put a different type of stress on brakes on the track than on the road. Road will overheat quicker because you are on them a lot more, but track braking is short sharp and hard so get chance to cool.
It's all very well having Mintex, Pagid, Ferodo, but it all depends on what model of pad you have. A set of standard Pagids on the rear were 50% worn after a 20min session at Blyton!
