Of course. Not much to brag about but the M5 is usually a good stretch by Worc's. 124 is the closest ive got so far. Still a good way from your record

Yeah I have redlined 5th and its was 137-139ish, changed into 6th and bottled it! 5th gear redline is not that much fun, but you can't beat joining an empty motorway and redlining 2nd 3rd 4th and then slip into 6th

Max so far was 154mph! As per pic that i took. Car was very stable.

Very tame compared to 176mph on the bike! That was scarey!!!!!!!!!!

M5 from J6 south is good stretch. the road is lit and not many boys in blue about in the very early hours! Unless they read this!

Not that i condone speeding on the public highway!

They were nice in their day (mid-late eighties) and I remember outdragging one leaving toll booths on a continental motorway in 1995. I was in a modified Lotus Carlton. I remember mine would do 65 in 1st and around 195 (calculated) in 5th. I never managed to stretch it fully out in 6th, which was an enormous gear. It would also do 0-100 in about 10 seconds with 4 people inside!

As for the S, we bought it purely as a weekend pleasure car to tour around with grins on our physogs when the sun is shining and the country pubs are open. It has not been above 120 and may well never, unless we go down to Paris.
I've got high speed on the roads out of my system nowadays, even sold my bikes. It's a cracking car and we love it.

How inconsiderate of Ferrari to have to make you change gear to hit 60mph

Peeps.

My theory is that perhaps those of you who can't hit these figures may have the revised -'01 onwards. Thought I'd read somewhere that the ratios had been altered. Would make sense as most people believe Honda tamed things down throughout the years, suspension reworked ecu etc.

Keep it raw with three figures in third-part exchange for the'99

Well don't try too hard Busamav I wouldn't want a reply going something like...

Well I tried three figures in third and then it went bang!!

I was well nervous doing those speeds. Be careful mate.
