when i used to live in Moscow I came across something very similar to the item being mentioned as a GB. It was infact a wolly willy warmer! I kid you not.

When it gets really hot I just use the soft sunglasses case I have, like the ones that come with Oakleys or Bloc or whatever.

A cottony soft heat shield for your knob, and it feels soft on the skin too.

I would be scared to use my Oakley case............any dried brittle deposits on it may cause scratches on my lenses the next time I cleaned them!!

Flame suit on.........as knob too hot to handle have a knob sock Bl***y good buy..Cool in summer .......warm in winter.......Just wish had got it in black!

Open to ridicule...fire away.


ps its great to fiddle with in traffic.

I must confess to owning a snug black leather knob sock.

Ricks Ti knob does get rather cold left out during those winter months, and although a bit of vigorous rubbing does warm it up reasonably quickly it's nice to get a head start.
