Default Hot...!!

Ok, only had the S2K for a little while so still getting used to it.....jumped in the car yesterday....put the roof down started the little bestie, put my hand on the gear knob...and BLOODY HELL...!!!! I now have the imprint of the gears on the palm of my hand, just how hot does that metal knob get...I was driving down the road changing gears lighting fast so i did not have to touch it...!!

Just me being a stupid person...?? or has it happened to other S2k virgins.. I now have to cover it with a cap when its parked up in the sun...and thats with the roof up.

or you could upgrade to an 02 or greater!

Just shift using the shaft instead where the leather covers it.

Put the aircon on full blast on the roof down setting mode - it will cool; down your knob quickly

Try explaining that to your mates down the pub, that the red chaffing and blisters on the palms of your hands come from changing gear. I'm sure they'll believe you !

Talking of knobs, how big is the knob in the new mini!!!! It's like the size of a football.

I'm not sure I could take the girth if I had one!
