Horn

Replaced mine with the low tone electric horn from Hellfords (made by Ring IIRC), not hugely different from stock but a little more manly!
There was a big thread on replacing the horn last year, best recommendation were the air horns but they need a bit of wiring in and removal of the front bumper - neither of which I wanted to do hence I went for the replacement electric. Try a search for "replacement horn" in the UK forum.

Took the tiny 'roadrunner' horn out the day after I got the car ! - went to Halfords, spent a tenner and got a twin tone meaty replacement.
Easy to fit, behind the front bumper just below the number plate on the righ-hand-side as you look.

I'm looking at getting either the FIAMM triple airhorns or the newer FIAMM electromagnetic horns.
Lots of people have the airhorns but does anyone have the electromagnetic ones (model AM80)?

I seem to have two horns - one behind the coolant expansion bottle - the second I found when fitting the GB grille the other day.
