Default The Hood Guuys - roofs in the midlands

I had a new roof installed by The Hood Guys (a 2-person operation in Kings Heath, Birmingham). Not the cheapest in the country (840 including membership discount) for an American import, but good quality hood and very efficient, competent, friendly service where they have extensive knwledge and experience and take pride in their work, and are really nice guys! And it's much more local to the midlands and me (Nottingham) than others on the discount list. An example of the sort of service they provide - after fitting I found I had water in the boot after heavy rain - assumed this was to do with the hood - took it back for them to look at. Even after it was clearly not caused by the hood fitting, Shaw and Gary spent 3 hours finding and solve the actual problem (a slight crack in a joint at corner of the boot lid groove),

Highly Recommended.

The op says "not the cheapest". I just wanted to share my experience of this supplier which might help inform other members' choices. Reports on other suppliers around the country (or is that countries?!) are easily available on other posts under earlier topics, which I researched beforehand!

Thank god! I thought no-one was ever going to discuss the relative merits of Jack Smith's and other hoods.

At least we'll have a definitive answer now .
