Default Hood discoloured

After fitting my 2nd hand hood it looks like the car it was on had been left under a tree and it has loads of green marks that will not wash out with elbow grease and a hot jet wash. Can the hood be died black or something similar or any tips on how to get the marks out?

It can be professionally dyed.
There is a thread a few days ago discussing this.

Mine looked the same matey. I got some auto glym interior vinly cleaner and washed the roof with that and a brush, lots of crud came out then rinsed with plently of water allowed to dry then used 303 aerospace protectant and the hood looks brand new

Ask Tango Man if there are any chemicals that may help.

You could try 303 cleaner, and then protectant, that tends to get them back to black

I had a similar problem with my blue hood when I bought mine. I tried Renovo but it didn't touch it. So I used a small scrubbing brush with paraffin followed by Flash Floor Cleaner and then washing up liquid. I then jet washed it no closer than 12" and after two sessions finally got all the marks out. Now that I've finished it off with Renovo Protector it looks absolutely immaculate.
