As the weather gets colder it is a common problem, just let things warm through a bit

Its the cold that does it. The hood material isn't as flexible and it doesn't fold properly. Just put it up and down few times and it will settle, or get the hood warm by turning the heater on inside the car and letting the car warm up,

The glass roofs are a bit of a pain in the cold and wet. Sometimes takes a few attempts with my roof. Getting a new one soon though.

Does the same apply with a mohair roof? The material is a lot more flexible than vinyl so I wouldn't have thought it would be as much of a problem in my case. I guess I'll find out as winter draws nearer.

As everyone has said this is a common S2000 trait on every MY when it gets cold.

It is irritating, especially when you want to drop the roof on a sunny icey morning. Trick is to put it up and down a few times, or warm the interior first.

I tend to give the roof a little shove with the button pressed down.

Do not recline the roof when it is icey though.

I can understand cold (don't I know it when my plastic screen cracked ) but I don't understand wet unless you are going to leave a wet roof down for days so it would go mouldy

I don't know Scott. Honda never put the top coat on your car or finished installing the roof so it works when wet

Now its gone cooler and damp id advise open the hood in 3 stages, 1st about 20" then get out and manually tuck the folds then go a further foot, get back out and ensure the glass is seating properly in the base do a bit more tucking then go the rest of the way, it will seat perfectly aswel as be nicely all tucked.

The glass window not seating properley would of been your issue this morning IMO

Silly question but did you take the handbrake off whilst putting the roof down?
