Hood Covered By Honda Used Warranty?
Hi, does anyone have experience of or know if the hood is covered by the standard Honda dealer used car warranty?

Just recently tried myself to claim for the usual hole over the shoulder.
I had a very small hole (just see a bit of daylight) and around it frayed edges. You couldn't tell from the outside that it had a hole. Mines just over 5 years old and has a used warranty. I was offered a new roof at a price I was informed was 'discounted' + vat + fitting. No way I could afford it, however I pushed for some kind of repair and they patched it and sorted the edges of the frame.
Hoping the patch sorts it and gives it a good few years ..... it's the same/similar material if not thicker and with the edges now covered (and filed so I was told) I so no reason why it shouldn't last.

I had my roof covered by the used warranty. If the dealer says no then kick up a fuss. It is a known fault if the wear is in the normal place over your right shoulder and there were even service bulletins in other markets. Trim items are not normally covered by any manufacturer's used warranty, but be vocal enough and you will be fine.

Mine wasn't covered, so I kicked up a fuss, wrote to Honda UK, and numerous phone calls and letters and still could only get them to supply to roof, but not fit - I had to pay for that. That was less than three years ago and it has starting going again now....
