Honda Servicing
Just had to book the s2000 in for a service and MOT at a Honda Dealer (which will remain namelesss - to protect the guilty!). Only going there because the car is under warranty until 2017 - otherwise Tom at TGM would be looking after everything in his usual efficient manner.
Two very illuminating questions were asked by the service guy:
"Is that petrol or diesel?"
Upon asking for a curtesy car:
"Can you drive a manual shift car?"
In his defence, the service guy did sound young, so is probably only familiar with the Honda Jazz.
Just hope the same guy doesn't do the servicing.

Those are standard questions that the people answering the phones at dealers read out whenever someone is booking a service. Most dealers will do that, so nothing to be worried about at all.
As it's an extended warranty, you do have to use a Honda Dealer, as it's an insurance policy rather than a warranty.

Lovegroova is correct - and I thought this had been established many times.
From the Honda documentation in my hands:
"Benefits of the Honda Approved Used Car Garantee are conditional upon the Vehicle being serviced by a Honda Dealer in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines."
