You do know that if you hold the + button down, you can have the dash as bright as when the lights are off, don't you? HTH!

I have them,

I know a lot will hate them,

Anyway pictures, Make up your own mind

As you can see i have gave them a slight smoke so they dont stand out when turned off,

Also need to pull the right one in a tad more,

I am happy with them and thats all that counts to me,

I have to be honest considered these but so far have not hit the purchase button, probably cause I also think they're overpriced.

The thing is I wouldn't have them as daylight running lights, I have Fog lights.

Then again most people have fog lights on when theres no fog in sight!

Judging by the reflection of the sky in the windscreen and the diffuse shadow on the ground, it's a partly cloudy day and the S happens to be in the shade of the house, and/or the sun is behind some portion of a cloud, at the moment the image was captured. This is one of the weathers in which one would hope that DRL's help others see your vehicle, yet the LED DRL brightness isn't exactly impressive in this much daylight. To be fair, though, if another driver hasn't seen your vehicle by the time they're as close to you as the camera is to the S in the image, they probably wouldn't see an approaching emergency vehicle adorned with flashing lights; the real judge of DRL's is how they appear from a meaniful distance. I'd like to see some images taken from 100m to 200m away, comparing relative brightness of the OEM DRL's (half-voltage, one-quarter power high beams - in the USA at least) with these aftermarket LED DRL's.

I have a preference for bright amber DRL's based on my observation of vehicles with DRL's at a moderate distance. In the daytime, moving white lights on a vehicle at a distance (that are not directly in one's visual attention area) are easily interpreted as part of a mix of bright and dark general background, but bright yellow/amber is more easily interpreted as 'pay attention' rather than 'just background' - in my opinion anyway.

People should just have their lights on by default, any weather, any time of day...
