The UK two-piece mats are (or were, at least) rubbish. The standard JDM mats were the same, but there were some high spec JDM two-piece mats that were of a much higher quality. I have those in my JDM. Not sure if the newer two-piece mats are of a higher quality, but I don't think the JDM high spec ones were ever available in the UK. The newer four-piece mats are of the same high quality, and are excellent.
Sorry to go O/T a little, but can anyone confirm which of these mats they have/had in their UK car?
I was under the impression that the premium ones, on the left, were not available in the UK, but were in Japan, hence me having them in my car.
After doing a little more reading, it seems they are available in the US as well. Does anyone have them in the UK?

The premium mate are avaliable in the UK and have been so for over 12 months. You must have spent to much time in the muppets area, there has been numerous posts about fitment and even a GB.

I'm on about the premium ones that came as just two mats that don't cover the crossmember, which I think were available in Japan from the start.

I also posted in the GB thread, as I helped to Photoshop the mats into a different colour as per someones request. I don't visit the Muppets section as often now.

They are the four-piece ones, and the GB was for the four-piece ones too.

I was just trying to compare the quality of the material really. Plus I was pretty certain that the answer was going to be the one on the right that people had in their cars, so the left hand side one was negligible for proving my point.
Just looking back at that GB thread, I mention that the original premium JDM mats were introduced in 2002. That's just information I would have read on here somewhere though, so whether it's correct or not is another matter.
Anyhoo, I'm glad they finally decided to use the decent material to make the full length ones.
EDIT: I'm going to get a pic of my mats at some point, as I'm curious if anyone else has them. They are almost identical to the full length ones, but only have one eyelet for fixing the driver's side one down. I've never seen them in another S.
