Nowt wrong with liking the car you're in. I'm sure most of the clio boys would appreciate the S2000 - I got plenty of compliments when I was over there asking about the Clio V6.

I think you're (mostly) all taking Mole a bit too seriously though He says that the S2k is quicker at higher speeds in his first post. It's also common sense that the R32 is going to be FAR FAR easier to launch in anything but dry conditions, so it will almost always have the edge off of the line.

The S2k is a fast car, but it is also so very easy to get caught out in the wrong gear when another car comes along to 'test' the performance difference. 2 seconds waiting for the revs to get back up to VTEC or to realise and change down = 'my astra whipped an S2k last night'.

Next you'll be telling us that the S2k is quicker than the Boxster and Z4 in the wet

Honestly guys i hope you take it as it is meant. I still love the S I think its a brilliant car. I also really rate the r32. Its not mega quick but it just does everything apart from fuel consumption really well.

No. So far as I'm aware, ex-owners have always been welcome to continue attending meets, and generally want to do so because they've had a good time at previous meets, and made good friends.
