Hi is it normal for the engine to hold on to its revs for a split second when changing gear my car is a 2006 so its got flybye throttle, this is just a little bit annoying

On the change down I would have thought that was a slight advantage?
I try blip the throttle when changing down at slow speeds quite a bit??

Yep mine does this (it's a 2007); I find it really irritating. I assume there's nothing that can be done about it with a DBW throttle ?

I cant say ive ever noticed it on mine, letting off the throttle the revs drop straight away, for example when revving it at idle. I have noticed the clutch slips in, but that is the clutch delay valve which can be removed.
