HKS SC kit topic

Little update, mishimoto low temp stat has been fitted and its still over heating, not going to go into too much detail, but the guy now owes me 10 litres of type 2 coolant, and another coolant flush and vacuum fill. As it was meant to be vacuum filled in the first place but he was busy so i ended up doing it the conventional way with 1.5 litre honda coolant and rest water to get me home. Hoping the vacuum fill cures it, could of been air in the system all along and i have wasted £400 on radiator stat and coolant. Will find out whenever they manage to get me some new coolant and find the time to do it.
If it still over heats im tempted to just sell up as at this point i have had enough

The rad was not a waste of money, you needed it regardless of what other people say. I would not run the standard rad when adding 40% more power to a car, its bonkers!
Cooling is always the first thing you upgrade before adding power, hopefully a vacuum fill will pull out any air or blockages in the system.
I do advice getting an oil cooler though as this will help things.

Well i didn't mean it was entirely wasted, but it was £400 i didn't want to spend until next year when i would be tracking the car along with a oil cooler and filter relocation and a few more gauges.

I'm still struggling with gauges and how i dont want any... If i can get all sensors plumbed into the AEM then i will just use a cheap 8" tablet to check stuff when needs be
