Agreed. It's perfect for the power hike the S2000 needs. Personally I think getting over 400 ruins the car, it's not setup to handle that imo and shows up a lot of chassis weaknesses.

As a nicely packaged solution I think it's a good bet.

I agree with this but placing the unit over the manifold isn't the right solution either.

HKS evidently thought it was a better position so not compromise handling.

Either position isn't ideal... The same debate goes for all FI "solutions" turbos on long manifolds that crack because of the vibrations and weight, turbos hanging under the manifold, turbos infront on the struts.. Etc etc... But let's not debate that. The HKS kit is what it is

Fair enough. I like HKS and I'm glad they have designed this kit.

Regarding the HKS BOV, I had one when I first installed my kit. It didn't operate correct as the spring tension was too great. Which HKS BOV have you opted for?

It needs to be suited for supercharger applications.

Its on the first page. We all know it's not an amazingly brilliant position but it's not going to change, and it's there for a reason, the reasons are also on the first page of the thred, the discussion of what's the "best possible position for the supercharger" is a whole different convo.

Ways to prevent heat soak... HKS requests you keep the OE heatshield In place (HKS manifold allows this) If you have a different brand manifold you can wrap the manifold, zircotec coating the manifold, have a vented bonnet or make your own heat shield. Or a number of the above.

Ive not searched for a suitable BOV at the moment... Any suggestions?

I used a Bailey on my turbo clio but it wasn't ideally suited. It was off of my mechanics yb cossie 12seater transit van! Lol.
