HKS SC kit topic

I don't think you will be disappointed with the kit in terms of performance. Im going to get mine mapped in the summer but in terms of performance even with the ignition retarded and rich AFR its is pretty bloody quick.
The 4.56 diff i got from MB also compliments it well and it flies through the gears.
A couple more observations after having it fitted for a few 100 miles
- When you buy a fuel pump get a new housing as well as this is where the filter is contained. There is no point in my eyes fitting a high flow pump when you have no idea of what the state of the filter inside the housing is. I thought the filter was the sock that comes with the pump but it isn't. This is the one i brought.

- There is lots of fuel pumps around but you cant go wrong with the walbro for the power needs of this kit so buy a genuine one with fitting kit.
- The OEM map sensor goes abit wavy at high boost levels so in an ideal world i would aim for a 3 bar map sensor just so you can know exactly what the boost is doing. Mine only ever measures 9.6psi at the moment and stays there even when the revs rise so i think its making more power so without a decent map sensor your ecu will struggle to get the full picture of whats going on.
- Don't worry about the OEM clutch too much, mine has had at least 10 trackdays and 70k worth of miles and its not slipping at all but as with everything its all about how you drive the thing. Im never harsh with the clutch on my cars.
- Make sure your radiator is in tip top condition because the intercooler robs it of alot of performance so it will have to work harder to get rid of the heat.
