Back from mapping, made 381bhp, drives really nice. Very pleased. Tts made 403 on same dyno with full dms mani and 76 exhaust where as now I'm standard mani, decat and uk mod std exhaust.
It's basically a mirror power plot till 7k when the gap goes to 15/20bhp as it gets to the top end. I have a print comparison I will post when I get chance.
Great numbers, how does it compare to the TTS on the road?
Not had much chance to drive it yet. Possibly an unfair comparison is its a lot smoother but probably due to using crap rc750 injectors last time and dw800s this which mapped much nicer.
As a whole it feels more oem but just much more powerful where as the other felt more aftermarket if that makes sense. Ultimately it's slightly slower but not sure as I would obviously notice, certainly not on the road and realistically 380bhp is more than ample day to day

What's everyone's under bonnet temps like?

Not overly happy with how hot the inlet pipe right behind the radiator is getting. Think a vented bonnet is going to be required

I got an IR thermometer the other day to take some normal driving, track and control temperatures on various places in the bay.

On a side note, I fail to see how it is going to be possible to fit an oil cooler with sandwich plate without removing parts of the piping. I couldn't even get the oil filter socket cap on to tighten it up a quarter turn. It's all pretty close down there. Anyone had any joy?

Also, where are people fitting a catch can? Saikou Michi Co tell me they are working on a dual can that will sit on cross member in front of the engine as the US battery attachment won't work on RHD. I like the look of it and potential position for ease of access, but has anyone located one elsewhere with this SC set up?

I have my catch can on the passenger side behind the suspension turret.

Oil cooler you have 2 options. Take off and remote filter somewhere which is probably easier in long run or take off the standard doughnut and then there's space to put the sandwich plate in.

What temps were you seeing on the in thermo?

In hindsight I wish I'd done the oil cooler prior to the supercharger install

Planning to take temps on Friday before/after tracking to compare normal and heavy usage.

Had a comparison to a mates 430bhp pulsar gtir tonight which having driven and been on track in I know is a quick car running 11 sec 1/4 miles. Very impressed how well the s2000 compared. Looking forward to getting out on track in it.

Whats is the result of the charger failure? Has it been replaced under warranty?

I've not been told, it's still being inspected apparently. And no, I haven't even been offered a replacement yet.
