All good still just fitted my fuel surge tank and had a map tweak as it was running a little rich. It feels smoother but mostly likely in my head. Hopefully get out in it over the long weekend.

If you find yourself in South Hants give me a shout. I'd love to have a look as I'm off to see Si about one of these tomorrow.

If you dont mind me asking whats your current fuel set up then? You had enough to fuel to keep the car running fine when there is no fuel surge but now youve added a fuel surge pot and an additional pump?

Would be good to see some photos. As i plan to use a similar set up to you its valuable information as some of these jobs i can start planning now and save abit of time in the future.

thanks in advance tron youve put some good info on this topic

I haven't noticed tbh no real issues, but then it hasn't really been hot. I can't imagine it being an issue though.

You're welcome Mark hope everyone finds the info useful.

I'm running a radium Fuel surge tank, (http://www.radiumauto.com/S2000-Fuel...0-05-P361.aspx) which is an s2000 specific kit, it mounts to oem points (more onto that in a bit) and comes with all the required connectors and fittings.
Basically the engine draws fuel from the new surge tank, which contains the tank and a secondary fuel pump, the surge tank takes fuel from the oe fuel fump and tank. All the connectors going into the tank connect to the existing connectors on the top of the oe tank. Then there are the wires which are run down the nearside kick plates to the battery for power.
Instructions are pretty straightforward but it's all quite tight fitting due to the limited space. There was one issue with the mounting points due to I assume the US cars having a mounting hole to use where they drill an extra point for the brace which my car didn't have, so it was drilled and a rivnut installed.

Here is a few pics of the kit fitted, sorry they are a bit poor but it's pretty cosy in there and I only had my camera phone on me.

Pic of the mounting bracket where the hole was missing, it's just where the dark shadow is to the right of the photo and just to the left of the brace.

Also to add I got the tank with the walbro 255 tank and it's pretty noisy, here's a guide to the pump options on noise: http://radiumauto.com/media/techarti...l-Pump-Test-87
I've ordered some sound deadning foam which I'll be fitting this weekend so will let you know how I get on with that.

The radium set up is pretty good from what ive seen but looks pricey compared to a DIY set up. At the sametime thou it would be very difficult to hide it away as good as the Radium one. You pay the price for a professionally engineered product i guess.

I was looking at using the OEM pump to fill a small 1.3 litre swirl pot and feed an external walbro 255 but i have heard the noise is pretty shocking and being external it would be worse.

Has given me food for thought thou. So when you had the fuel surge did the car splutter abit or was it more noticeable? I have seen at least one video of a supercharged s2000 blowing up from fuel starvation so it is a problem that needs to be looked at for sure.

Cheers for the info

No problem, It just felt like a soft fuel cut to be honest and I backed straight out of it as soon as it happened and came back into the pits, here's a vid

I was looking at these the other day and thought the same, fantastic bit of kit and really well made but I think I would opt for a tank slightly larger diameter that stands fully upright.
