I was thinking it was dust from when i was drilling etc fitting the remote housing but yes you are right, just not too happy with the wetness of it, clearly leaking grease out of some sort.

How does yours look?

Got the pulley back in with the new bearings last night, happy to report it has stopped the belt from being thrown off alignment! But it is still slipping between 8-9k so i guess i need to invest in a new belt

Was it still cold when you tested it, mine slips but stops when it gets hot, by hot I mean really hot and it would only slip above 7k when not hot enough.
I put up with a little bit of slippage because I don't want to put a lot of stress on the charger shaft.

Gave it ample time to warm up fully, good 30minutes of hard driving, got a bit better but still would slip above 8k. didnt slip previous week. i am just happy that the belt is not going out of alignment, new belt can wait for next year along with a new filter! will be the 3rd belt now including the original belt. for me at least seems 1 belt lasts a little over 1 year(though i think current belt has been on for probs 2 years now). which is only like 2.5k miles

mine will slip until I've done a lap or two at track.
I am still on the OEM belt, remember I switched to contitech belt which was shit on the dyno so went back to the HKS one. Should probably replace it soon but its not cracking and showing no signs of age so meh.
Really should change the charger oil too but that itself is still clean and crystal clear so should I change it?

Dunno, i have changed mine when i got a new charger(got it foc) and then i ended up emptying 50% of it out without realizing so i changed it again about 1.5 years ago. I would say its not looking that "clean" right now though since i had a look in the reservoir last night, unless its just the inside making it not look clear didn't take any out to look at it.

at over £250 im not planning on changing it again soon lol. But even then, i think ideally you need more then 1 bottle to flush the system with the clean fluid. i think that LHT use two bottles on the rotrex flush.

I thought I would ask here since this the biggest thread on the hks supercharger . I had the basic hks supercharger kit gt 7040 but since have upgraded to the gt8555. I was wondering if anyone that has recommendation for an intercooler to be fitted with it and or sizing ?

Jonno where did you get the gt8555 from?

I have contacted UK suppliers about doing this and they all say that the 8550 and 8555 have been discontinued. As for the intercooler options if i fitted it i planned to run larger suction side pipework and carry on using the bar and plate intercooler i brought to replace the crap HKS one. The intercooler i got had larger inlets on the end tanks and also was substantially taller.

So far i have gained 10 percent more whp over the 7040 and about 15% more torque. Going to test with the high boost pulley. Rpm will need to be limited as it will overspin the charger. Will know in about a week. So seeing if it needs a larger intercooler to match up with the bigger charger. I got my gt8555 from Japan recently. I have contact if you like just send me a message:
