Mine looked pretty much exactly the same as that on both sides of the pulley and had done for quite some time. If it is the bearing that is throwing the belt then their was no real warning sign, had the car out previous weekend and was perfect, took it out weekend after and had the issue on first pull

weird, mines been solid, it just came back from silverstone all be it overheated slightly due to hot day but yeh belts always been solid.
One thing you do have to do though is wait for the belt to warm up before you rev it up otherwise it will slip.

Well the bearings have turned up, and they are wrong. They are sealed one side, open the other. Apparently NSK decided to change them at some point, so they used to be known as 6300DU NSK (as written on the bearing) now they are known as 6300DDU. The extra D meaning double sealed.

So remember the above for anyone else ordering replacement bearings!

These are the correct ones 2x NSK 6300DDU

I have used them anyway, Just took a seal off one of my old bearings and put them on. Will try it on the car tonight but the pulley spins and feels so much nicer so they were 100% shot. Hopefully sorts the problem of the belt being thrown.

If this works i will most likely order some higher quality bearings that will hopefully deal with the heat better. I know the pulley gets crazy hot to touch after being driven

that link shows all available bearings for the bearing size in the pulley

thanks for that link.
They do a high temp grease one which may perform better over long time.

John i bet most of the debris you can see on the pulley is belt dust. I have the same dust on my pulleys. Its to be expected with the strain the belt is under when the supercharger is making boost.
