Any more vids/ thoughts on it in general after another week. I need boooOOst
No more vids I'm afraid, (well there are, but can't put them on a public forum )

Been using it the past few days due to the dryer weather and it still wheel spins in 2nd and 3rd after approx. 6.5k - 7k rpm Starting to get to grips with the car now and it's a hoot to drive I just want to drive it at any opportunity, while previously it used to be sat in the garage for weeks, sometimes months not being used.

Took a mate out in it today and he was astonished at the acceleration and the fact it just keeps going, and I wasn't even going to the red line, as there really isn't any need to. The extra low down torque really makes it a much more usable car at normal speeds, I find my self leaving it in much higher gears as it pulls very well from 2.5k rpm. The extra low down torque makes rotating the car much easier when required to.

The only real downside is the fuel, it's quite thirsty now, but I have been using my lead foot while out in it!
My fuel consumption in cruise when it was supercharged was around 18-20 to the gallon, because of my gearing it does around 35 now with the turbo.

I don't think my 4.44 final drive helps.

If you download the Flashpro software there is an HKS SC base map for the USDM s2000 not sure how different the USDM maps are but I guess it's a starting point.

What were air temperatures like between the different 'tests'? I'm getting a TTS SC in the summer, so this is great reading for me, thanks.

Bob,

The mishimoto fans are well known for being useless. Less powerful than the OEM items. To do it properly you need to get a SPAL fan or something similar. They pull so much current that they will stall the car on idle.

Surprised you were still seeing high temperatures in the top hose. Water cooling has never been a problem on trackdays for me but oil cooling is a massive issue after 20 minutes in a NA car let alone supercharged.

My brother was at the same trackday as you at Snetterton, he was in the BMW 335i with trade plates.

I also have a mishimoto triple core rad/shroud/fans,I'm surprised that you said the fans are useless.mine cope perfectly fine, they have never struggled at all to bring temps down.
I havent done any trackdays, but it has done some high speed pulls and spirited driving through the summer months and haven't had a prob.
