I'm not running a cat and my car doesn't really smell. Don't get me wrong when you start up if your in an enclosed area it does but i can never smell fuel from inside the car when i'm driving around.

The GF comes out in mine all the time and has never said anything. Ill ask her next time we go out but it genuinely doesn't smell bad to me. Have you checked the fuel pump cover is sealed correctly? maybe the smell is leaking through there.

I'm off to Cadwell on 15th so will let you know if i fail the 105db or not.
Mine has a pleasent sweet smell to it, not overly fummy. I'm just going to buy a cheap blueprint £80 cat for MOT's.

Do you think it will pass if the car has been mapped with no cat on? with a simple cat swap?
