i still had adjustment i could make on the tensioner, the issue was the bolt bellow the belt, it was literally 1mm away from touching the bolt head and was screaming past 7.5krpm. This was literally a couple of months after the install.

I'm still completely undersided with this kit !

Did most purchase when the group buy was on ? ( around £2600?)

the issue i have is that these kits are now around £3700 .... and the tts kit can be had for around £4400 inc injectors , fuel pump and a bov that works .

So im guessing I'm asking would everyone still have bought this kit at the currant price ?

BOV works fine and belt works fine. The TTS kit gives you more power but they too have had quality issues. HKS is a nice kit which doesn't over stress engine.

why the huge pages of bov issues then ?

So your saying in your opinion it's still worth the ( considerable ) price hike ?

I wouldn't buy the kit at the price it is now but thats not because its not any good its just at the time the price was abit of a steal for the amount performance it gave you. The BOV issue can be fixed quite cheaply and to be honest its normally one of the parts people like to customise anyway because of the noise.

and this is my conundrum ......

At the GB price I wouldn't have gone for it ... even 3k .... but £3700 !

And dont even get me started on an aem ecu .... they were around £950 and now £1300

by the time I've added fitting /mapping , oil cooler , clutch , catch can ... few other bits , I don't think I'll have much change from 9k !!
