So me and my mate drove up to Chris @ EFI-Parts on Saturday. There was a Clio on the rollers being mapped when we got there, so we quickly fitted the ID1000 injectors and 4bar map sensor and then handed the keys over to Chris. Three hours worth of work; he didnt skimp on anything. Car purrs on idle, is a completely different beast now. For those in and around the Surrey area - I would highly recommend doing the 3hr trip up to him. He truly takes care of you and wont let you go out without being 110% happy. The drive back was hilarious - the damned thing would wheelspin in 3rd gear. 392bhp and 250torque Have that annoying ECU issue to resolve still; but am completely happy with how the car turned out.

Things to now do on the car before the summer:
  • Change rubbers to AD08 (currently running Goodyear F1s.. need something abit more grippy)
  • Sort out the alignment. I'm sure everything is seized so that will need to be looked into urgently

Trunkz,
Could you do a little test to see what yours does at high RPM? (See Supercharger Flutter thread).
Just take it up to near red line and come off throttle. As the rpm drops, do you get a continuous "Flutter" as in the video I uploaded?

Monkey; I was about to update you guys on that thread. No continuous flutter like the one harvey's got. It flutters as usual for a second or so but thats it.

Trunkz, glad chris sorted you like me. He used the map he created for me as a base for you

Did you have any weird idle issues when cruising low load and then going to neutral for instance when you pull up to traffic lights?

Mine seems to almost die then slowly come back up to normal 900-1000rpm idle.

No mine's as smooth as butter. He did have some pinking during the mapping which I automatically attributed to shoddy BP Ultimate (I was running on empty as I got to EFI and there wasnt a nearby shell) but that was it.

He's a good man Chris! had my Kraftwerks supercharger kit on mine mapped by him.

Happily recommend him to anyone
