HKS SC kit topic

My belt seems to slip sometimes at top end, but have a little adjustment left. Might get a conti belt and replace it anyway and keep the HKS as an emergency spare.

Im sure this happened to me the other day but it was about -2c outside. I wondered if the supercharger oil gets quite thick and struggles to get things going first thing in the morning. After about 5 seconds or so the noise stopped. The supercharger oil cooler seems to warm up quite quickly once the car is running thou.

What catch can's are people running? Just the cheap Fleabay £20 ones, or anything a bit more specific?
Seen a baffled one for around £40 that doesn't look to bad.

Might just do the plastic bottle hack and see if it really is pushing out a lot of oil before i go buying a catch can.

Yes mate had to do a couple of things
- Refit the turbosmart BOV the opposite way round so it acts as a vacuum operated bypass similar to how the Audi/VW bypass valve works
- Adjust one setting on the AEM ECU under O2 feedback. It was set to stop fueling at TPS less than 2% but as it jumps around between 1.5-2.5% the engine was injecting fuel even thou the throttle was fully closed. Adjusting that to 3.5% sorted that.
- Dismantled Throttle body and added O-ring on TPS end of shaft, Lots of red rubber grease on all the parts to try and stop any water meth getting through to the TPS
- Spray at 5PSI onwards

Thought I needed a SOS TB as they use nitrile orings, I'm glad there is a cheap DIY on the OEM TB
