Done it again this morning. Just unplugged the battery and will try again in a few minutes. I cant hear the fuel pump priming so that makes sense. All gauges have been disconnected so its not that. Absolutely beautiful..

Fit my act clutch disc I have for sale, I have an act 6 puck sprung since my car is making over 400lb ft with the improved manifold and its a nice clutch for a 6 puck.

the clock will have an older time yes - depending on how long I leave the battery ofcourse. Im still going to crack on and fit the SC and then worry about the ECU. It might well be the immobiliser as well - I was just checking and no fuel is being delivered when it doesn't start - very much sounds like the fuel pump not priming. Also can't connect to the ECU when it's doing this. The fix is to disconnect and reconnect the battery and then it works until I switch the engine off. Leaving the key off and trying again as some have suggested doesn't do anything to alleviate the situation.

edit - no immobiliser as that's inside the stock ECU so scratch that off the possible list of gremlins.

Fix my silly ECU and I'll buy the clutch off you

Walbro fitted over the weekend. My god that was a right pain in the arse. Had to reuse the fuel hose clips, the fuel filter bag and a few other bits from the old fuel filter - but all fitted and working. Still have to figure out why the ECU isn't priming the fuel pump properly.. I've sent AEM an email.

Reused the wiring plug from the old fuel filter. The new wiring plug from the new honda fuel filter has an extra 'pin' which is unnecessary. No relay however - just carried over bits from the old fuel filter to the new fuel filter as mentioned above
