I would get something with an insulated busbar rather than an exposed one like that. If you ever get that live bar contact abit of bodywork it could cause a fire.

I got one like this

12V/24V UNIVERSAL CAR BOAT 4 WAY CIRCUIT ATO ATC STANDARD BLADE FUSE BOX HOLDER | eBay

I just used fully insulated crimps to loop a supply across all 4 fuses and then connected my gauges etc to the otherside of the fuses.

StarTed the job today, fuel pump and new filter fitted, wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be! Took my time over a couple of hours and all done. Let it prime and it started pretty quickly.

Bear in in mind don't throw the old filter away till you take the little white clips off the fuel feed lines as you need these so the fuel lines clip on!!

Not wrong about the Walbro pump being noisy as well!!!

Start fitting the rest of the kit on Thursday now she'a parked up for the winter. Booked in with TDi North on 14th Jan so got till then to fit the kit.

Just found out why my pipework is so close to belt pulley... my alarm horn is stopping the filter move anymore over so need to relocate that and should be good from there.
whats the word on fitting catch cans, will this kit on track push oil out head breather or is it OK to be plumbed in to intake pipe?

Has anyone replaced their belt yet? Mine is slipping at 8k+ rpm.

I'm sure i read further back that someone had the part number or size, but if anyone has it to hand will save me searching the thread.

I have zero room for more tension, its literally just a few mm away from touching the bolt bellow the belt.

manual says 6pk1310. so i googled it and it came up with the following belt, but it does not say the length, i know nothing about belts, so not sure if just because it match's the 6pk1310 if it will be good enough? or if the size is a different number on the belt?

ContiTech Drive Belt

I'm surprised at how quickly yours has failed... Are there any wear signs on it?
Mine slipped on the rollers but tightened it up and its been great since. I put the HKS plugs in at the weekend and it goes like the clappers now!

Anyone got the part number for this filter? I'll get this ordered up via Si this week prior to doing the fuel pump replacement.
