HKS Hiper
Searching has revealed this to be a highly regarded exhaust in the sound department. This video seems to back that up (at about the 9 sec and 25 sec mark when he revs properly)
Anyone got one on their S that I could listen to? Anyone got anything bad to say about this system?
Final question - is this exhaust still made? Searching reveals it is listed on some websites but others (HKS Europe etc) seem to list only the (stainless) Hipower version...
Thanks for any help,
Andy

One problem is their weight. Heavy beasts.
Anyone running a Hiper at the moment?

Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that the 'Silent' version sounds anywhere near as good.

I'm running one - must be a ****. It is quite loud, much louder than stock. The weight is marginally less than stock.
There are a couple of downsides:
- there is a drone from the exhaust at +- 3k RPM - you can drive around this, or fit a de-cat pipe,
- only the back-end is stainless - the rest has a shorter predicted life. I've had mine a number of years & it's lasted significantly better than some of the 3x more expensive Amuse exhausts.
To give you an indication of the noise levels, at meets the exhaust has drowned out trailing drivers cars, and given the drivers an indication of when I'm changing gear / accelerating / etc. - basically an anti-social noise level
Not sure if you can still get one though.

I have just had one fitted on Monday, I posted on car upgrades post on this forum.
Lovely noise when accelerating,
Drone if u cruise @ 3.0 > 3.8k RPM and i have a decat on.
No added performance but no loss either, about as heavy as stock?

Two exhausts are available;
First one is the Silent Hi Power Part # 32016-AH004
This is made completely from polished SUS 304.
The second one is a Hi Power 409 Part # 32003-AH007
The two rear cans are made from polished SUS 304, and the rest is made from SUH 409 with a paint coating.
