Ash - the HKS looks very cool but aren't the tips a bit too close to the valance? The tips do get very hot after a spirited drive - keep an eye on it incase the tips start burning the bumper or discolouring it.

Nice scratch on the bumper just above the pipe (see close-up)

Looks better on a pre-04 IMO - pipes just look a bit lost under the new bumper design - still though.

AB - I've been watching the bumper like a hawk! I too have had some concerns about this, but all the pics I've seen of 04+ S2000s seem to be exactly the same...?

I've actually done a few sprited drives - including a 2 hour slog on the motorway - and its been fine so far (touch wood).

Has anyone put heatshields on the bumpers? I hope I don't have to - they would look really naff

I'm hoping that's just some wax that I didn't buff off properly, but I'll have another look this evening.... Well spotted!

I only have a few millimetres of clearance between my rear bumper and tail pipe and I've not had any problems over past 12 months

EDIT: I subsequently found a melted piece of bumper

Had mine done 6 weeks ago in Barking , east London. It's the full stainless silent high power though so it's a bit more dough . They will do Sundances one too though .

Had my HKS Silent Hi-Power Stainless Steel exhaust fitted by TDI two weeks ago, and its coming along nicely!! With the HKS Racing Suction kit, it sounds the nuts! Setting of a few car alarms in the tief-garage is always funny! :-)
