Hks Exhaust
Does anyone have any pics of the HKS exhaust fitted. Did I read a thread
that somewhere there was an audio file of the sound too.
How loud are they. I'm not really into bling bling max power but the standard
pipes are very quite. But I'm also 36 and do NOT want to look like a Maxer
Cheers

GSi has an audio clip in his sig.
How loud? Quite a bit louder than stock when under load - but not unpleasantly so and not Max Powerish IMO. Some people dislike the "drone" you can get between 3 and 3.5K rpm, but its not hard to drive around that.
I'd try to blag a ride with a member who has one and experience it for yourself before you spend any money.
(There's someone on the FS&W board who is selling his car and may be prepared to sell his HKS separately - might be worth a look if you decide to get one)

they are a bit max powerish
In what way do you think the HKS is Max Powerish, Jamie? Noise? Appearance? The cans are larger than stock, but they're not THAT big.
How about making your way to the Herts meet next month? Not local, I know, but it's do-able. StevenM, Hoggy and UKS2000 all regularly attend and all have HKS exhausts.
