Were they both killed outright? You didn't just leave them laying injured I hope.

Natural section at work IMHO thick badgers deserve a wheel over the head, much like people who shop in Lidl

Alex, sorry to hear about your bump, bad luck. Yours is (was) a very tidy looking car for its age. It doesn't sound too bad and if there aren't pieces of the bumper missing should be repairable to an acceptable standard by a quality body repairer. Try to get some recommendations for a good guy in the area or call Tony at Seven Milestones 01872 553864 and ask him who he used when he fixed my car. I'm very pleased with the results.
Once you get a quote for repair you can compare that to the cost of a replacement.
I hope the badgers are OK.
I saw my first live badger 2 weeks ago, fortunately it was running along the road, not across it.

Plastic can be welded.
Most good body shops have the materials to do this.
The repair will be invisible and wont split.
Just like welding metal, the area is fused and a filler rod of the same type of plastic is added.
Allow about £300+vat for the paintwork plus cost of the welding.
Steve.
