Default Hit 2 Badgers

Well as above, was driving along last night, hit two badgers at once, only had the car a month or so - A bit gutted. Anyhows looks like purely bumper damage. My question is - my car is silverstone silver, will any silverstone bumper i buy fit straight on, and look the right shade? didn't know whether there may be a discrepancy or paint fade or something? Thanks guys.

There shouldn't be any paint fade because of the lacquer.

The bumper often ends up a marginally different shade than the body, even from new, due to differing materials.

Ah man, sorry to here. No chance of getting your bumper repaired? I know one really good bodyshop here I can recommend.

My advice... go for the hattrick.
Although that's not very good advice.

I know there's a handful of people on here recently who have had some bodykit bumpers put on their car - you could always chase them and see if they wan't rid of their old bumber?

Or grab an aftermarket front end yourself, might be cheaper.

well it's missing some paint, it has one 6 inch split in it, and another smaller split, just seems to me i'd be best off buying a ap2 front bumper in silverstone. I think it could definately be repaired but i'm dubious of the sparying that has to be done to it, due to it being the most flexy area on the car and most prone to stone chips? Am i thinking straight?! Love the badgers gritty

You surprise me, considering the circumstances.

I had this repaired to quite a high standard and, touch wood, it hasn't split, paint hasn't cracked etc:

Sorry, but I can't find any "after" photos on my work's PC. If it's just cracks then I would be tempted to get it repaired. I hear what you're saying about the paint match though. It's more difficult with metallic colours.

crikey, yeah mine aint that bad!, but it does have a 5cm square patch of paint missing, and also loads of those stress fractures (like hundreds of lines tearing off) so it's going to need the whole thing spraying was thinking of going to an AP2 bumper - assuming they fit straight on?, then i get something positive out of it at least!
