HID High Beam Fitment
Since the standard high beams are, let's be honest, crap, I decided to upgrade them.
Everyone has had good reviews about the Philips 100w items, but I have also head stuff about overheating the reflectors.
Despite it probably being b0ll0cks, it was enough of a reason to go for HID's
Had a look on Fleabay and found a 55w kit for

Great write up Ron, I was going to ask a question on here and it may be in the FAQ but as it seems relevant I would like to adjust my lights, I get the distinct impression that I am blinding all the poor people coming the other way towards me at night ... either that or they just like S2000's ... hmmm !
So, how do I adjust them, please tell me I don't have to take the bumper off!!
Oh by the way (noticed the Air intake in your car) I bought Dave's (Blurters) CAi so I am hoping to fit that soon too, hoping that it sounds great and reduces the heatsoak that can happen with the lid off, and perhaps improve some throttle response too.

Looking good mate
How gutted will you be if my Rallye ones are better though?

Paul, I noticed no change, performance wise, with any of the mods I have fitted.
The noise is immense though
As for taking the bumper off - piece of cake mate

Good job there mate
This could be a future mod for me to do. Do you have a link to the ebay supplier?

Read his add carefully (for some reason, I did which is unusual!).
He just asks for phone No, address (For Air Way Bill), and what bulb type you want.
I provided everything and had no probs
Just been out for a spin to test them. When they come on, they only look as bright as the halogens. 3 seconds later and the standard projectors just dissapear - totally amazing, especially when you turn them off again the difference is huge!
