Default HID Headlight Height Adjustment - How?

I still haven't got a UK owners manual for my JDM S2000, so is there anyone out there kind enough to tell me how to adjust the height on HID headlights as on low beam i can't see where I'm going as they're not pointing high enough up.

Possibly scan the page in from the manual that tells you?

Assuming it can be done of course.

I asked for this at the dealer recently but apparently they are self levelling so bugger all adjustment.

Yes, they are self levelling, but only assuming they are set correctly in the first place

There are two white plastic screws/'toothed wheels' which are turned (vertical and horizontal movement of the bulb) using a philips screwdriver - the instructions have been posted on here before - if only the search worked

I believe they can both be accessed from the engine bay though - but could be wrong and the wheel arch liner(s) may need to be removed.

I think you have to take the units out to adjust them, I did. I think thats why their are made to be self adjusting as they are so awkward to get at without removing them. Although it might have been my induction kit getting in the way, but, I cant see how you could possibly get at the adjustment through the engine bay.

I thought Auto-levelling only came in 02 onwards (Chrome) headlamps?!

I adjusted mine with a trusty screwdriver thru the specially made holes to the adjuster screws, no need to take the units out. They were set way too low by standard !

Need a blooming long screw driver to get through the hole . Is it philips or flat head required?

Is it okay to post this? Wouldn't want to upset anyone.
